Prof Ke Chen is dedicated to research on tumor immunity and tumor metabolism with more than 10 years of scientific research experience. In particular, he has extensive research experience and unique insights on the relationship between drugs and tumor immune microenvironment and tumor metabolism reprogramming. During 2011-2016, he worked in scientific research at thomas Jefferson university in Philadelphia, USA. Professor Chen is currently the chief physician, professor/ doctoral supervisor, and deputy director of the Institute of Urology, the Department of Urology, Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He has published more than 10 scientific articles in internationally renowned academic journals by correspondence author and first author, including Advanced science, nature comm, cancer res, clinical cancer res, cancer immunology res, etc.

Results showed that the synthesized CS-NPs with different concentrations of trisodium polyphosphate (TPP) are irregular – spherical shaped with narrow size distribution and high stability. The microporous chitosan was also synthesized with new features characterized with different techniques as SEM, EDX, FTIR and BET. The synthesized microporous chitosan has a surface area and pore volume of 245.571m 2 /g and 0.155cm 3 /g respectively. Its microporous surface is functionalized with carboxyl and amine groups.
