Adoption of Digital Pen and Paper Technology (DPP) in Biomedical Technology by Dimitrios Zarakovitis* in Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science (OAJBS) In recent years, Health Information Management Systems are integrated in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in order to ensure that the effectiveness and efficiency of Health Units (H.Us) are improved. The use of major Medical Equipment (M/E) in Hospital Units is necessary for achieving the best possible treatment. Digital Pen and Paper technology (DPP) is a useful ICT tool that aims to enhance the electronic registration and management of Medical Equipment of Biomedical Technology (BIT) Departments. DPP application can help to upgrade the quality of public health services, reorganize and simplify the internal medical processes and save time and costs during the daily nursing practices. Furthermore, DPP technology also promotes a better assessment and management of public health services with full transparency of fina

Assessment of Medication Errors in Emergency Ward at Nekemte Referral Hospital, West Ethiopia by Balisa Mosisa* in Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science (OAJBS) Medication error is defined as failure in the treatment process that leads to or has the potential to lead to harm to the patient. It may occur at each five stages of drug ordering and delivery including prescription, transcription, dispensing, and administration or monitoring. Prevalence of medication error in healthcare settings have been found that they were common in hospitals. Perioperative management of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis: Posterior Spinal Fusion of 14 Segments with A Foreseen Blood Loss of 2000ml (57% of Total Blood Volume of the Patient) Without Transfusion by Hanna Perez-Chrzanowska* in Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science (OAJBS) Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) is a disease of the spinal column that affects up to 3% of pediatric patients at puberty. In most cases it can be managed conservatively and only a minority develop severe deformities which compromise neurological, pulmonary, cardiac and psychosocial function, requiring surgical management. The main complications of this highly complex operation, which needs careful planning and preparation, is excessive blood loss needing transfusion, and neurological injury. We present the case of a 15-year-old male who underwent a bloodless 14 spaces, instrumented posterior spinal fusion without any complications. All the pillars and means of patient blood management (PBM) and meticulou

Bedding Management for Young Calves: Health, Welfare and Growth Perspectives by Akbar Nikkhah* in Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science (OAJBS) Mucosal malignant melanoma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is a rare tumor, given their rarity and the absence of randomized trials, the diagnostic and therapeutic management of these tumors is difficult. We report two cases of mucosal malignant melanoma of nasal cavity and through the literature data we review the different aspects of this rare entity. Both patients underwent surgical excision with removal of the tumor. The radiotherapy was delivered with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) technique. The prognosis remains unfavourable despite therapeutic progress. https://biomedscis.com/fulltext/bedding-management-for-young-calves-health-welfare-and-growth-perspectives.ID.000396.php To Know More About Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science Please Visit: Biomedscis Are Click on:   https://Biomedscis.Com/
